The Mens Blade ski created by LINE was created to performance all over the mountain, its main feature that makes it stand out for the crowd is the Gas Pedal Metal laminate. Rather than focusing on stability and powder the Gas Pedal Metal keeps the ski feeling fun. With an aggressive and agile shape, the Blade ski let you make S and C shaped turns. Directional Shape: The ski is built to perform best when traveling downhill with your nose pointed downwards. This shape is created through a shovel tip, tapered tail, setback and directional flex

3 – 5 – 1 Profile: This directional profile features 3mm camber in the centre of the ski to give the Blade power, pop and great edge hold whilst 3mm early rise in the nose helps the ski lift and glide over powder

Early rise in the tip and tail: This rise in the tip and tail brings the contact points closer to the middle of the ski to increase the engagement on hardpack and create extra lift in powder

Medium to rigid directional flex: Medium to rigid flex is responsive for precision skiing, ideally suited to an intermediate skier who rides with more aggression. Directional flex combines softer flex in the tip to help the skis float over power and initiate turns whilst the tail is stiffer to provide power, stability and control at high speeds

Aspen Core: 100% Aspen wood throughout is lightweight and feels nimble. By using one species of wood the core gives you consistent and reliable flex

Gas Pedal Metal: Metal is placed across the width of the ski to increase the grip on the edge, this placement allows the natural flex of the ski to keep it feeling lively. The metal is split in two with a break underfoot so you can make large C and S shaped turns

Fatty 1.7 Base: Sintered base is tough and reduces friction against the snow to increase your speed, so you can glide over flats without the need to unstrap. The Fatty is 30% thicker than standard sintered bases to increase the durability

Sidewall: Classic sidewall construction using a ultra-high density polyethylene sit above the edges to dampen vibrations and help drive power to the edges of the skis

Fatty Edge: 2mm wide x 2.5mm high steel edges are tough

Thin Tip: The core and sidewalls are thinned out at the top to reduces the weight of the ski, tip bounce and tip swing. Increasing your overall control of the skis

Tight 5CUT sidecut: 5CUT is featured across all skis in the LINE range, made with five different radiuses which have been blended into one sidecut allows the ski to make a wide variety of turn shapes
